A post from several years ago our son Cameron posted; it may be inspiring and motivational to some of you. We’re very proud of him and his personal vision, tireless efforts, love of God and our Savior Jesus Christ ❤️...
“I pretty much use social media to post photos of the coast when I have the time, and to keep in touch.
Today though I feel I've reached a milestone. After working in our Palo Alto branch for a year, a tech inventor with several patents asked me to present to an investment group of 50. It compromises several engineers, entrepreneurs, and other Silicon Valley professionals.
Next week I'm meeting one of the creators of the Internet for lunch, to discuss the transferring and management of 8 figure accounts.
In November I'm taking clients to test drive Teslas on their track and tour their factory.
I've worked with founding members and executives of Google-
Yet no more than 3 years ago I worked in a dumpy call center, doing customer service for Jitterbug (cell phone for the elderly) and the worst..retention calls for colon cleansers.
You can become anything you want, if you do whatever it takes. When I got out of the hospital after severe trauma, I went back to work even though I had a PICC line feeding antibiotics directly to my heart, a tube coming out of my GD leg to leak out drainage, and crutches. I've worked two full time jobs or 80 hours a week to get more sales experience and work ethic on my resume. When I didn't get a job I wanted because I was an "Indian chief and not an Indian", I sent a headdress and resume directly to the CEO (who then called me with a job offer).
The only thing standing between you and your goal is the BS story you keep telling yourself as to why you can't achieve it.”
