Don't date a girl who climbs mountains....

Don't go out with a girl whose idea of having a good time is to walk for hours in the middle of nowhere with a 10-25 kilogram load on her back. She's the one with the dirty arm warmers, worn out leggings, and a sunburned face that's beyond repair of any whitening product.

Don't date a girl who has no qualms about sleeping on the ground and doesn't need a full service bathroom to do her business. She will gross you out. She can go for days without taking a bath and reduce her vanity kit to a pack of wet wipes. She will snore , drool, burp and fart and it won't be cute.

Be wary of the girl who has been to the summit. She won't stop talking about the peaks she has reached. She will go on and on about every tree, beetle and sunset she has seen untill your ears bleed. She stops on d trail to take pictures of wild mushrooms while you scratch your head and wonder why she's fussing over a fungus.

Don't ask out a girl who feels at home on a campsite. You won't always be able to text or call her. She turns off her phone to conserve battery life and doesn't mind the absence of network coverage.

You won't be the only man in her life. She goes on climbs with other guys, hangs out with them for days and bonds with them over hot soup in the morning and raucous laughter during socials. She's comfortable being one of the boys and doesn't feel the need to explain herself to anyone.

Don't date a girl who has travelled to remote places for a challenging climb. She has learned to face the world on her own. She won't always need you. She won't always look for you. She won't always butter up your self-esteem or stroke your ego.

Don't date a girl who climbs the mountains.. as she would miss a dinner date just to watch stars from the peak.. she won't be scared of the thunderstorms.. instead would see into the eye of the lightning..There wouldn't be the scare hugs and cuddles.. her first love would always be the mountains.. and facing fear would be her companion..

She loves with an intensity that pushes her to endure rough trails and grueling assaults. She pursues what she wants with a passion that drives her to reach the highest peaks. Her heart is stubborn and her resolve is strong.

Don't date a girl who climbs mountains... your shoes will get muddy , life will b messy and your world will never b the same again.....!

Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, located at an altitude of 17,100 ft (5,183 m), in the Indian state of Sikkim.

It is a high altitude lake in North Sikkim close to Indo-Tibet boarder.

Velas turtle festival

Trekraw Presents Velas Turtle Festival 2020 for all those who wish to experience on a memorable backpacking trip with fellow like-minded travelers to witness the rare and scarce sea turtles at the Velas beach. Unarguably, Velas is also one of the popular breeding sites of Olive Ridley Turtle. The best time to visit is from mid-march to mid-April.

Eco-tourism Trip and Awareness
Velas Turtle Festival is not just about little turtles hatching season and the beautiful beaches, there something more to it. Olive Ridley Turtles are one of the more endangered species of turtle. To protect and conserve these turtles, the Marine Conservation Society hosts this turtle festival at Velas every year to spread awareness and promote eco-tourism.

Dates: 21st Saturday - 22nd March Sunday 2020

Itinerary
Day 0 - Friday: post Midnight
1 am - Meet Pritam Hotel Dadar (E) station

1:30 am - Chembur

1:45 am Vashi

Overnight Journey to Velas

Day 1 - Saturday
07:30 am - Breakfast at Bankot fort

09:30 am - Reach our homestay, have tea and small refreshments.

You are free to explore and relax on your own till 4 pm ( lunch will be served at 1 pm)

03:45 pm - Visit the Beach for Turtle hatching & Sunset

06:30 pm - Watch Informative Documentary

07:30 pm - Play fun games + some awesome night photography, etc at Velas beach

09:00 pm - Dinner

9:30 pm - Hit your bed & retire for the day

Day 2 - Sunday
04:30 am - Wake up Call

05:30 am - leave for Velas beach for the last sighting

08:00 am - Come back to homestay & Have breakfast

10:00 am - Leave for Harihareshwar beach

11:30 am - Visit temple and spend some time besides the beach

12:30 pm - Have delicious local food

02:30 pm - Start return journey

10:30 pm - Reach Mumbai (Tentatively)

Tour Cost : 750 rs + On Actual Expenses.
For regular members its 700 Rs.
The approx total (reg+actual) will be around 2500 to 2600.
