Sunday was an interesting night; first time at location which dated back to 13th Century with prominent visitors such as Queen Victoria!
The design of the location provided a unique insight of how it would have been as, although “modern”, it still echoed of its original layout.
Lovely to have Max & team join us ❤️ who said they had such a good night and are looking forward to next investigation 👻 Our Mags who lit up the room with her lovely smile and report a great night looking forward to more x
To the MGM team at location and staff; thank you for inviting us, very privileged 👻
Any teams or investigators out there that are serious about paranormal please do get in touch if you would like to join us on future locations; always welcome 🙏🏻 onboard 👻

For our Bram fans....
In the summer of 1890, Irish novelist Bram Stoker was on holiday in the seaside town of Whitby.
Despite spending barely a month there it left a deep impression on him and his later novel Dracula was heavily influenced by it.
Perhaps already researching his famous novel Stoker visited the Whitby Museum, the local library and the harbor.
He was particularly interested in shipwrecks in the area, especially the Dmitry, a ship that had been shipwrecked five years earlier.
The Dmitry was a cargo vessel that had set sail from Narva, modern-day Estonia, in 1885. On October 24, the Dmitry was one of two ships run ashore at Whitby by a violent storm that came out of nowhere, according to newspaper reports at the time.
The crew of the Dmitry remained onboard the ship hoping for an opportunity to dock. Onlookers watched from the shore as “the sea beat savagely against the vessel. Her masts gave way and fell with a crash over her side, and the vessel herself began to break up.”
There is no account of how, but all seven crew members of the Dmitry were saved.
The Dmitry would later serve as the inspiration for The Demeter, the ship in Stoker’s Dracula that brings the titular character to the shores of England.
In the novel the Demeter originated in Varna (an anagram for Narva, where the Dmitry originated), and similarly carried “ballast of silver sand, with only a small amount of cargo—a number of great wooden boxes filled with mould.”
Stoker interviewed fishermen in Whitby harbor, where he was told of mysterious and not so mysterious deaths at sea. From the fishermen and gravestones in the local cemetery Stoker reportedly made note of some 90 names to use in his story, including the surname “Swales.” In the novel Dracula Stoker writes “Mr. Swales was found dead… his neck being broken.”

We have been given the go ahead from one of our privileged locations to post our report on here. We have decided to maintain integrity of the location and respect for visitors that we will omit then name of the location. We hope that you will still find the report interesting and when we go back to continue the investigation (next year) we are able to build on the initial findings and create a good dossier of the location.

Anyway please do keep a look out for our report on here and our private fb group Insightful Paranormal Investigations

Good Morning All, team leaders had a meeting last night to talk about 2025! Our Jamaica Inn trip being hot topic :-) So we thought a Friday night investigation at Jamaica Inn and for those who want to make a weekend of the trip we would find a second location to stay in on Saturday night but also have an investigation too. Chris & Jan know so many places in the area that they brimmed with ideas!
But the floor is open to all to put ideas forward for the Saturday....
All in this together xx

Hello Viewers! Some of the team had a great weekend at Parameet South meeting new people and making new friends. Its one of our field trips we do which always ends up in an investigation too. :-)

Our team continues to grow and we have new collaborations planned with other teams we met at the event so will post news up once that has been arranged.

Other locations we are doing road trips to are: Cannock Chase, Ross on Wye (Wales), Rendlesham Forest and Thetford. There are no costs to attend the investigations but due to distance it will mean a Premier Inn over night stay, except for Ross On Wye which is staying the weekend in the actual location (whcih is a room & breakfast charge.)

If there are other teams wanting to come along, you are always welcome
