Take the leap of faith!

Yorkshire 3 peaks is a challenge which I enjoy tackling! The group soldiered on despite the weather conditions. All 11 completed 2 summits & 6 completed all 3 in under 12 hours. With doing it in 11hrs10 minutes.
Pure beasts.

The weather was testing, with rain almost throughout the whole trek. The Montane Spirit lite GTX jacket & trousers kept me as dry as possible.

“In 2005 i worked for a charity and my boss at the time organised an Everest Basecamp trek. I helped him with recruiting others to take on the challenge as well as fundraise for good causes. This gave me the bug and I really enjoyed exploring aswell as using the outdoors to keep active.

I love meeting new people and especially enjoy helping beginner's conquer their first mountain. Also you can't beat the mountain views!

My advice to those looking to explore the outdoors, look for local popular green spaces and start small. Even some local parks can be quite scenic. Start small where you wont need much kit or knowledge of navigation. Consider joining local walking groups. Overtime, work your way up to more challenging walks. Eventually consider booking on to a beginners navigation course. If you're part of a group consider going with experienced mountain leaders such as Peak Adventures UK.”
