We will bring you by local taxi to Bang Bao fisherman village in the south end of Koh Chang Island. This day offerd you the absolute best snorkeling places ever close to Koh Chang. With slow boat to the area of Koh Rang. Here you will visit coral islands of Koh Yak, Koh Lic and Koh Thong for snorkeling. Before lunch we will visit the beautiful beach of Koh Rang. You will be served a nice buffet on the boat for lunch and the staff will later make you a nice B.B.Q on the beach.

On the way back we will visit the beautiful island of Koh Wai. Then back to Koh Chang.

In recorded times it was called the 'Ban Thai Samor', and was one of twelve towns that used, before people were widely literate, the monkey for their standard. At that time, c. 1200 A.D., Krabi was tributary to the Kingdom of Ligor, a city on the Kra Peninsula's east coast better known today as Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Glimpse of Bhutan 5 days 4 nights package
GLIMPSE OF BHUTAN 2 NIGHTS PARO 2 NIGHTS THIMPHU

Day 1 - BANGKOK - PARO ( D )

On the flight you can have a panoramic view of the Great Eastern Himalayan peaks appearing one after another on the left side. Do not forget the spectacular landing of the Druk Air if you are visiting Bhutan for the first time. Upon your arrival you will be received by our representative. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 - PARO - THIMPHU ( B, L, D )

Morning visit the Druavel Dzong (built in 1647 A.D. by Shabdrung Ngawang Namavel. Now in ruin. It was built to commemorate the victory of the Drukpas over Tibetan Invasion in 1645 A.D. and destroyed by fire which started from a butter lamp in the main tower in 1951). Kvichu Lhakhang (built in 640 A.D by the Tibetan King Sonatsen Gampo is one of the two oldest temples in Bhutan). National Museum (House in an ancient watch tower which was converted into a museum by Bhutan ' s third King in 1968 has a collection of Arts Works, textiles, handicrafts, and other items of Bhutanese heritage). Paro Ripung Dzong (built in 1645 by Shabdrung on a small 15 Century Fortress Houses the State Monastic Community of about 200 monks and is also the seats of the Paro district administration). After lunch drive to Thimphu (65 kms). Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 - THIMPHU - PUNAKHA - WANGDI - THIMPHU ( B, L, D )

This morning drive to Punakha and Wangdi via Dochu La Pass. From here one can have a breath taking view of the Himalayan Mountain panorama from a Japanese installed telescope inside the cafeteria there. Punakha is a rice valley where Shabdrung built a great Dzong on the confluence of the two twin rivers. Phochu and Mochu or the male and the female rivers. The Dzong looks spectacular like an anchored ship and had served as the capital of Bhutan since the 17th Century till the beginning of the 20th Century. It is also the winter residence of the Je Khempo. The Spiritual Head of the country and can be visited during summer when the monk body moves to Thimphu. Lunch at Zangdog Pelri Hotel, Punakha. After lunch drive to Wangdi (81 kms). We see the Wangdi Phodrang Dzong from outside and resume our journey back to Thimphu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 - THIMPHU - PARO ( B, L, D )

Today we do the sightseeing in and around Thimphu. Visit the National Memorial Chorten (built in 1974 in memory of the third King Jigmi Forji Wangchuck) Duptho Nunnery, National Library, painting school and Changlingmithang Temple. Evening drive to Paro. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 - PARO - BANGKOK ( B )

Morning transfer to Paro airport. Our representative will help you clear the airport formalities and bid you farewell.
