The Christmas in August signifies a group of people who were experiencing a snow storm and because of the inability to have fun they celebrated Christmas as a way to enjoy themselves despite the weather. Also the Midnight Sun Festival was one in which people, cooks, musicians gathered to showcase their talent and skills and just have a good evening. ❤️🇺🇸

I really loved my job because I was talking with people. They asked me my home country all the time because of my accent and then we played the guessing game 🤩😁
It was hard for them to guess my country.

We rented a car, and travelled through amazing national parks and big cities. Absolutely fantastic nature: Big Sur, Antilope Canyon, Grand Canyon, Highway 1 beaches. Outstanding big city life: New York, Las Vegas, San Francisco. 🔝🇺🇸❤️

🇺🇸🌎J1 participants had an amazing time exploring the Norfolk Zoo, hitting the sand on three beach trips to Ocean City, and getting their adrenaline fix at Six Flags and Busch Gardens. They cheered on their favorite teams at baseball games, spotted whales on a breathtaking whale watch, and splashed around at Water Country.

They also showed off their skills in the Lifeguard Olympics and a competitive soccer tournament, making unforgettable memories along the way. These events truly embodied our mission of cultural exchange and fun! 🌍✨
