This photo shows just how powerful a tornado can be and the many pictures that were posted over the last couple of days shows just how destructive a tornado can be. Going back to three core things that WP members seek: Giving back is absolutely the most important of the three. I can't tell you just how huge of hearts that I've experience..that I have witnessed over the last week. People from Wyoming, Texas, Montana, North Carolina..driving 10-15 hours to help rebuild Joplin, MO to her original...even better city that she once was! All coming together as one country for Joplin's need. WP envisions some day, heaven forbid, another flood, another hurricane, or another tornado hits our wonderful country that we have not 1 volunteer...not 10 volunteers but 100's of WP volunteers...coming together for a common cause. I know many of you can't be here to volunteer physically, but there's a plethora of different ways you can give back. Go to www.rebuildjoplin.org and find were your heart wants to give back.

WRONG NUMBER - RIGHT HEART.
My buddy Mark posted this story on his page... Please dig deep in your heart and give to the Joplin Tornado Disaster.
An amazing thing happened today.. I had a wrong number for an employee and had text her to see if she needed anything. The number was actually a man that lives in Dallas and we talked for awhile.. Said he has been praying non stop for us and was wondering who to send donations to.. He is sending money, clothes and care packages to me now to give to the relief effort. So crazy how that happened. And on the corner of Rangeline and 20th there is a church group from Gasville, AR which is 4 hours away giving out free food in abundance! People usually amaze me for the wrong reasons. These two things today show just how selfless some people are and their willingness to help those in need. I am truly humbled.

Joplin needs your help. Yesterday I was volunteering with the search & rescue here in Joplin, MO due to the tornado disaster. Rain was pouring down like a monsoon, as firefighters, other volunteers & I pulled 2 x 4's , furniture and an armoire away from the last pocket space of a house that was leveled earlier, looking for a potential survivor, my heart sank...she was not there. I sobbed as her grand kids embraced each other and sobbed. I tell you this story so that you can feel what I felt..what I experienced.. and in the hope that you can find it in your heart to give. Convoy of Hope in Springfield, MO is a non-profit organization taking $10 donations by texting the word CONVOY to the numbers 50555.
