One thing we’ve always tried to teach in our program is “surf etiquette” and turn out good “Surfing Citizens”.

Sometimes members of the surf community we are grateful to share our spot with don’t always set a great example… but we always teach it!

Yew! Best time of year starts tomorrow! We meet in grassy area adjacent to the the 1st Street parking lot a tad before 9. Pack a lunch, bring extra sunscreen and appropriate surfing equipment. I highly recommend a full suit for additional sun protection.

We are back to reasonable pre-pandemic numbers, have a revamped staff and are looking forward to giving your campers an awesome and safe surfing experience!

Looks like the surf is going to cooperate the first week too! Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

The teaching potential at far surpassed my wildest expectations. I’m contemplating putting together a training group for a fall 2021 private session. Each participant would get 3 1 hour sessions in the pool. Instruction would include one in water session with me and 4 other students, 2 post session consultations on beach and an individual video analysis the evening of the event. This event would be perfect for High School Surf Team athletes, younger athletes with competition aspirations and any one else keen to rapidly improve there surfing technique. Our High School and aspiring High School Surf Team training starts this weekend, Saturday’s 9-10:30. We’ll go over sound surfing fundamentals and technique, along with general contest strategy and strategies to get the most out of individual skill set. Fall Sunday’s registration is now live. This class is for kids that are accustomed to surfing without assistance. We’ll spend the next 10 weeks building on surfing skill set and wave reading ability. Enrollment is limited to ensure all students get plenty of individual attention. Class starts 9/20 and runs through the weekend before thanksgiving. Thanks!

Missed everyone! Got fall sorted. We will offer intermediate and above training Saturdays 9-10:30 with a somewhat mobile program from Anderson street to HB. We will also offer a “mini camp” at Seal Beach River Sunday’s 9:30-11. Both programs will have somewhat limited enrollment so there will be lots of personal instruction.
