When the opportunity to travel with a group of talented fly fishers on an Arctic Char scouting mission for came along I couldn’t say no!

After two days of travel we arrived at our off grid destination for six full days of fishing.

We saw whales feeding in the fjords when entering Kangia, Sea Eagles, Falcons attacking our drones, Caribou along the river banks, northern lights most nights and last but not least the Arctic char fishing - wow, just insane! We caught fish all shapes and sizes and obscene amounts! 🎣

To witness such a pristine ecosystem thriving, with a river absolutely jam packed with fish it is incredible.

It is safe to say this was one of the most fulfilling adventures I’ve ever experienced. So refreshing with no mobile phone/internet reception - made a great atmosphere!

What a privilege it was to share and fish with this group of guys. Some great memories made and so many laughs both on and off the river with .kubala.fly.fishing - thanks to all 🙏

Anyone thinking about doing a trip to Greenland you’re welcome to reach out for any advice.
