After a little getaway, I was able to stop and enjoy the beautiful Sandals royal Bahamian! The staff and service amazing and the resort absolutely beautiful. If you need a truly all inclusive adult only getaway consider Sandals Resorts. (Family? Ask about Beaches Resorts)

I really do love cruising and take all the possible moments a short but fun and relaxing weekend trip this holiday. The Allure is a great ship that has a slightly “softer” price tag. She is older but has great venues and amazing shows and the Royal staff is always wonderful.
Current sailings are 3or 4 day from Miami to Nassau and the gorgeous COCO Cay!

I got so busy with starting school I forgot I promised you all some cruise line comparisons! Let’s start with private islands.
All the companies have them but they are vastly different. I have been to Royal Caribbean perfect day at coco cay (and I will say it’s one of my favorite places not just for private islands ) but now I want all my stops there. I also experienced great stirrup cay (NCL) and half moon cay (carnival ) recently.
For a beach day all are fine, all have included food (buffet at all) NCL and carnival picnic style. Hamburgers hot dogs etc. same with RCCL but they also have a wonderful taco bar and a great Philly and portobello mushroom sandwhiches. NCL has a food truck (great fish sandwich) and RCcl has snack shack (best chicken sandwich) all still free. Some things to consider Coco cay drink package is in affect on the island. Free activities include beach, pool, chairs included (not all have or include umbrella.
All have cabanas at extra cost and different locations. We did this a few times on cocoa cay and it was amazing but not necessary.
Excursion available from here as well.
Key notes: ncl and carnival require a tender making it difficult to get off and back on and creating long lines. Rccl just walk on pier (and there is a great shuttle to get you around)
RCCL has a full water thrill water park. Amazing and fun but can be pricy. Check the cost under excursions and watch for discounts. Sports avail on all some free some cost. Overall private islands can be a fun add to itinerary and don’t have to be extra expense. What questions do you hve about the private island stops??

World’s BIGGEST weekend!

Utopia of the seas! Beautiful, modern and definitely a party! This ship has all the favorite venues (Central Park, aqua theater, great restaurants) and some new innovative features and venues too.
The entertainment was top notch, ice show, production, aqua and comedy.
The food was wonderful and tons of new choices (pool deck food truck, grab and go Izumi in the park, and the railway experience, along with el loco fresh and park cafe and lte night pizza) great new bar pesky parrot along with lime and coconut and schooner to name a few.
There was a party every afternoon and evening. Much more involvement and direction by activity staff (maybe a bit loud at other pools if you aren’t participating) and the late night toga party in the solerium (toga and instruction included)
This is definitely the BIGGEST weekend party out there.
And all itineraries go to coco cay. Utopia goes out of port Canaveral M-F (4 day) and F-M (3day) you really don’t want to miss this! Reach out with dates to book this great escape.
