We enjoyed our weekend getting the Alpine Escape ready for Winterfest 2024!! Thanks to Eve Kuhn, we have our unique Alpine Escape ornaments for guest during the holiday season!! ❤️🎄❄️🐻🏔️

The flag pole at Rafting in the Smokies stood firm through Hurricane Helene. Amidst the destruction, the first task our team took on in the rebuilding was to raise the American flag high as a sign of strength, resilience, and hope for all those affected. It takes a team to conquer what's ahead, but together, we will rise🇺🇸

It’s the best time of the year to sit around a campfire in the mountains roasting marshmallows! 🔥

Currently, we have 1 weekend available during the fall festivites!! Oct 26 & 27!! There are some weekdays left in September and October!! Get a last minute deal this week (Sept 9-13) for $125/night!!

Winterfest is filling up!! 3 weekends left for 2024!! Weekends available: November 15-17, November 30 Dec 1, and December 6-8!! There are weekdays as well!

👀Where did the year go!? 1 year ago July 31 we began the final construction to get our cabin to the finish line! .. August 14 we officially finished, and went live on Airbnb!! Shortly after adding VRBO. We sure have been very blessed on our first year of renting.. Thankful to have many great renters that enjoyed the mountains and peacefulness of our place! We are excited to see the adventures and progress of year 2!! What’s coming next… 🤔

August 2024 Updates: New access to boat launch only 0.6 miles from the cabin! Relocated a couple pine trees from the front view to the backyard, stained the front porch, new living room rug, added fishing decor to the kitchen & bathroom.

I always have projects planned 😉 little by little we’ll keep adding to our Alpine Escape for others to enjoy!!

We are excited to add our newest amenity!! 👀We have access to Lakewood Boat Launch for our renters!! The launch can be used for boats, kayaks, jet ski’s and more! You can also access the lake for fishing! Only 0.6 miles from our cabin!!

What is good for the soul.. A day trip Jeepin’ in the Smoky Mountains!! ⛰️🐻 Skip the $$ and lines for a day to enjoy the natural beauty! ❤️ We started out at our cabin, drove down Veterans Blvd, into Pigeon Forge, down the Spur to hop onto the Gatlinburg Bypass. Took Newfound Gap Road through the mountains, seeing a 🐻 on the side of the road! Through Cherokee, NC onto Bryson City, NC. This is our first time to visit the Great Smoky Mountain National Park from Bryson City… Highly recommend it!!

Found JJ’s Tubing Rental, 4 tubes all day $32!! The best part.. they don’t bus you because you tube in the national park!! You are free to get into Deep Creek wherever you want, many put ins and out! Best tubing experience! A nice gravel path along Deep Creek to walk up and down to find your favorite spot to tube or just hang out! The further up you go the more adventurous it can be! Picnic Tables and charcoal grills for lunch! We had packed a picnic lunch for the day not knowing there would be grills!

After a few hours of tubing, drive back through Cherokee to see Elk standing along the road, came towards us looking in! Back across Newfound Gap road to stop at Newfound Gap overlook to take in how amazing God’s creation is! Continue on.. see another bear looking right at us along the road! Back to Gatlinburg to cruise the parkway, then down the back strip we see a bear climbing a tree along the sidewalk! Finishing off the day in Pigeon Forge with dinner at the Smoky Mountain Brewery!

Celebrate Freedom is Pigeon Forge’s way of saying thank you and to honor all the brave men and women who have fought and are still fighting for our freedom.
