Fort Selkirk, nestled along the Yukon River, holds a treasure trove of history. We are lucky to have this stop on our route and share its rich stories with our paddlers. Once a vital trading post for the Hudson’s Bay Company, this site is a blend of Indigenous and settler history, with remnants of old buildings standing as reminders of the past. It’s one of the most incredible stops on our journey, where the past comes alive amidst the stunning Yukon landscape.

Picture yourself gliding through the crystal-clear waters, surrounded by snow-capped mountains that stand as silent sentinels against the azure sky. In June, the lakes and rivers come alive with the vibrant colors and melodies of nature’s symphony.
June offers a symphony of experiences for wildlife enthusiasts, with the chance to witness baby moose and baby beavers exploring their world. It’s also the prime time for birdwatching, as the lakes echo with the songs of red-winged blackbirds, yellow-headed blackbirds, and many more.
