is a must day trip from London for fans of botany as well as children and adults. There really is something for everyone. From beautifully sculptured topiaries to the Great Pagoda.

Kew Gardens hosts a variety of events through out the year. Currently they're getting ready for Christmas at Kew. Select dates have been known to sell out.

Kew Gardens is an easy 45 minute tube ride from the center of London. You want to take the District (Green) line toward Richmond and exit at the Kew Gardens stop. There are signs posted everywhere to point you toward Kew Gardens

There's something for everyone from a Tree Top Walk for the daring to the Japanese gardens for those who want a quiet lunch in the park. Consider a day trip to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew.

This is Muswell Hill, a neighborhood in North London where few tourists venture. This is also home to Toff's of Muswell Hill, voted one of the best chippies in London. Take the Tube's Northern Line up to High Gate. It's about a 20 minute walk to the high street, but it's worth the trip.

Travel planning. Everyone has their methods. Personally, I lean toward the old-school method. There’s a certain joy in the process of planning. I enjoy the experience of writing out itineraries, from the must-see landmarks to the little cafes I want to try.

For me, travel planning isn’t just about logistics; it’s about setting the stage for unforgettable experiences. I’m creating a roadmap for adventure and I love every moment of it!

I absolutely love Edinburgh so much so I became a SCOTSagent through VisitScotland.

This is Dean Village, a picture perfect enclave in Edinburgh. Take the footpath following the Water of Leith to Leith Village. It's so scenic and lush. It's a must for anyone visiting Edinburgh and I can't wait to return.

The shoulder seasons of March to May and September to November are some of the best times to travel. Rarely will you have to deal with crowds at the more popular destinations around the world. Accommodations are cheaper as are some forms of transportation. The weather tends to be cooler and more comfortable to tour in. If you have the time, consider traveling the shoulder months.
