If you are ever flying with Qatar airways, it is worth breaking up your trip with a night or two in Doha. All the main sights are within walking distance of the Best Western, so getting around is easy!
Qatar has an interesting history of pearl diving - which died out due to the farming of cultured pearls - and rags to riches through oil. The National Museum, the Museum of Islamic Art and the Souq Waqif are all great places to while away a few hours.

The Sinai desert has been my home off and on for 14 years now and the ways of the local Bedouin people have enriched my life. The desert is a stunning place to walk, to sleep, to dream, to ponder. Here are a few pics of a recent trip I did. Maybe you will join me one day in this special place to experience the magic and the beauty of the desert and the generosity and kindness of the Bedouin.
