Nov 8th Destination Kayak paddled out with a group to Shackleford Banks in Beaufort, NC. We camped for 2 nights with the wild horses that have made this pristine barrier island their home for generations. A weekend full of beauty and adventure. 🐴⛺️🛶

Yesterday's Destination Kayak Trip to Capers Island was a true adventure! 🛶🌿 We navigated a three-mile paddle through the marsh and landed on the stunning, desolate boneyard beach. Nature put on quite the show for us—spotted dolphins playing, a pink spoonbill soaring by, and even a majestic Bald Eagle gracing the skies overhead. 🦅✨ Treasures found included welks, sand dollars, and the unforgettable memories we made. Today was more than just an adventurous paddle on the Little P*e Dee with Destination Kayak Club. Before we embarked on our journey, we dedicated an hour to cleaning up the litter at the ramp—making it a cleaner, greener spot for everyone. 🌿🗑️

The paddle itself was a blast, with our trip leader clearing the way and helping us navigate the challenges. The abundance of deer and perfect weather added to the magic of the day. 🌤️🦌

🌊 What a Week of Adventures with Destination Kayak Club! 🚣‍♀️

We've just wrapped up an incredible week of kayaking adventures, and what a ride it's been! From serene paddles down the Little P*e Dee River to exploring the history of Fort Moultrie and encountering dolphins through Shem Creek, and visiting Waties Island in Cherry Grove, our paddlers have experienced it all. Today, we topped it off with a fun-filled paddle at Wacca Wachee—what a way to end the week! 🏞️

Each trip was filled with laughter, stunning scenery, and the joy of paddling with an amazing community. We encountered deer, river otters, and even an up-close dolphin experience while paddling to Fort Moultrie.🌴🦅
