What’s included?
Day 1 : Welcome to Cape Town!
After having collected their luggage and passed through customs, clients will be met at the airport by their South African Tourism Board registered Tourist Guide and transferred to the city hotel.
Rest of evening at leisure.

Day 2 : Cape Town and Table Mountain
After breakfast a city tour to Cape Town was originally established as a refreshment station in 1652 for the trade between Europe and the Far East. This morning clients will be taken on orientation tour of the city center, which will include a drive by the Houses of Parliament, The Castle (oldest building in South Africa), the old Malay Quarter, known as the Bo-Kaap, and will take a walk through the Company Gardens, and visit the South African Museum.
Lunch will be at leisure and in the afternoon the group will ascend Table Mountain by cable car. This excursion usually takes about 2 hours. (Visit is weather dependent; should excursion not be possible, it will be moved to the following day, or the day after – weather permitting).
Time at leisure.
Return to hotel for overnight.
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 : Cape Town and the Cape of Good
After breakfast, at 08h30 depart hotel and enjoy a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula, starting with a boat cruise from Hout Bay to view the seals at Seal Island, boat departing at 09h15.
Continue via the scenic Chapmans Peak pass to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Visit the most south westerly tip of Africa.
Continue via the False Bay coastline to the Simon’s Town and enjoy a fish lunch at one of the local restaurants. Visit the breeding colony of Jackass Penguins, and return to the hotel after a visit to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens in the afternoon.
Late afternoon you will return to hotel to enjoy on your own time some shopping.
Coach and guide available for a dinner transfer; continue to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, situated in Cape Town’s working harbour, where there are a myriad of restaurants, hotels, shops and craft markets. Fresh sea breezes and the warm sun add zest to a cosmopolitan, vibrant atmosphere.

Day 4 : Cape Winelands
After breakfast, we are in route to Stellenbosch, in the heart of the Cape Winelands, and it is just a 45 minute drive from the hotel - visit the Village Museum and do a short walking tour in the town, which also houses the University of Stellenbosch.
Visit a boutique or larger winery and enjoy 1 wine tasting.
Continue over the scenic Helshoogte Pass to Franschhoek, situated in the “Valley of the Vignerons” and settled by the French Huguenots in the 16th Century. From there, driving time from Stellenbosch it is about 20 minutes.
Enjoy lunch on your own
Visit the Huguenot Museum and return to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 5 : Cape Town - Johannesburg by air – White River
Early breakfast and check –out of hotel, for transfer with English Chauffeur to Cape Town Airport (20 kms)
Proposed flight: SA 306 07h20/09h20 (Not included, to be booked by agent)
Meet your new driver/guide upon arrival at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport, and continue to the Mpumalanga Province, stopping en route to visit the Botanical Gardens at Nelspruit. Afterwards, your coach will continue to White River.

Day 6 : White River - Kruger National Park - White River
Enjoy a full day game drive in the Kruger National Park, with a local ranger in an open safari vehicle.
The group will depart the lodge after breakfast at about 06h00 and return at about 16h00.A light lunch will be enjoyed in the park.This reserve was created by former President Paul Kruger in 1898 as a sanctuary for animals, which currently comprise about 450 different birds, 106 different types of mammals, ie elephant, rhino, giraffe, zebra, hippo’s, kudu, impala, and lion. The park is about 220 miles long and 37 miles wide, but there is every chance of seeing the Big 5.

Day 7 : White River
After breakfast, depart with the coach for a visit to the Hoedspruit Environmental Species Centre, travelling distance about 1.5 hrs.
The tour starts with an educational video after which clients are taken on a tour of the centre focusing on the conservation of rare, vulnerable and endangered animals. Cheetah conservation is one of their core disciplines, as well as looking after baby rhinos whose mothers maybe have been killed by poachers for their horns.
After the HESC, visit Jessica, the hippo, who voluntarily lives with a local inhabitant in the nearby town of Hoedspruit, and if Jessica is at home and not visiting elsewhere, there is the opportunity to feed or stroke her .. Jessica has become an international star and has her own following on You-tube

Day 8 : White River - Kruger National Park - White River
The group will depart the lodge after breakfast at about 6am and return at about 4pm for their full day game drive in the Kruger Park.
A lunch stop will be made at one of the picnic spots in the park. After lunch, the coach will meet with the group, and then travel onwards through the Kruger Park, exiting at Numbi Gate.
Return to the lodge. In the evening, enjoy a barbeque dinner around an open fire.

Day 9 : By road to Johannesburg Airport
After breakfast, depart your hotel for the drive back to Johannesburg.
Total travelling time about 5 hours: a different route will be followed, via the towns of Sabie and Lydenberg, stopping in Dullstroom for lunch at one of the many eateries, the village is known for its trout-fishing opportunities and beautiful scenery.
Stop during the route for a lunch on your own.
Thereafter you will continue travelling to Johannesburg International Airport. Check-in for connecting flight home.
