My trip to Naxos last year was pretty special, for so many reasons. The fact that you can't get a direct flight there from the UK adds to it's charm, keeping the authenticity of the island well and truly alive! And this also means it's a fabuolus island to twin centre with another, or even a city break to Athens. An island small enought to get off the beaten track and explore, with some beautiful inland villages selling local handmade goods and delicacies, clear waters, a small capital 'city' with plenty of history and archeology, walking trails around the island (best for off season when it's not so hot), and did I mention the food? Today I took some time out for some training with some fabulous trade partners, at a fantastic venue on the outskirts of York. I love days like this, as it keeps me on the ball with what new destinations I can offer my clients. I heard from Julie and Charlie about all things Inghams - Santa's Lapland, Lapland, Walking and Ski holidays. Did you know they are now offering summer holidays to Norway!? If you love the outdoors, this could be for you! Andorra and Madeira are also proving to be popular destinations. And Lapland in winter is of course just as popular, with Inghams having a great range of accommodation and resorts to offer, both before and after Christmas, with or without Santa experiences. We had delicious cakes to celebrate 90 years of Inghams, and finished the day with a 2 mile walk around the local area, where we got to meet Murphy the donkey (a local celebrity 🫏), and have some time to chat.
