This week, let’s take a look at Slovenia—a small country packed with a lot of charm! 🇸🇮

Slovenia offers a unique blend of nature and city exploration. There’s so much to discover, such as the riverside cafés of Ljubljana, the shores of Lake Bohinj, and the hiking trails of Triglav National Park.

Fun fact: Did you know Slovenia has over 10,000 caves? The famous Postojna Cave even has its own underground train.

This week, let’s talk about Sri Lanka—a beautiful island that’s full of surprises! 🇱🇰

Some experiences you won’t want to miss are visiting the sandy beaches of Mirissa, exploring the tea fields of Nuwara Eliya, or climbing the ancient Sigiriya rock fortress for awe-inspiring views. You could also go on a safari in Udawalawe National Park to spot elephants or wander through bustling markets and hidden temples. Sri Lanka has a little bit of everything!

Fun fact: Sri Lanka is home to eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the sacred city of Kandy and the Dambulla Cave Temple.

Carrying on with the winter theme, today we’re looking at Finland. ❄️

Winter here feels like stepping into a fairytale. You can glide through snowy forests on a husky sled, admire the northern lights, or unwind in a warm Finnish sauna after a day out in the Arctic chill. The frozen lakes and snowy villages add a quiet beauty that is truly unique.

Fun fact: Finland is known as the 'Land of a Thousand Lakes,' but there are actually over 180,000! In winter, these frozen lakes are perfect for ice skating and other frosty adventures.

Meet our first Travel Couple of the Week: ! 🌍

We’re so excited to introduce Hudson and Emily—two travelers who are almost at the finish line of their mission to visit every country in the world. With just 4 countries left, they’re about to become one of the youngest couples to accomplish this! 🙌

For the last 8 years, they’ve been traveling full-time, making it work by teaching English abroad, working online, and embracing all the amazing (and sometimes challenging) aspects of budget travel. They usually opt for street food, hostels, and local public transport while on the move.
