Hiiii everyone so we just set up camp at Sapphire. Our week at Opealton was fantastic we loved it and will definitely be going back again. A big thank you to the Opealton community and the bush camp where we stayed without there help and expertise we wouldn't have found any opals so cheers from the both of us👍 Get yourselves out there and check it out!!!

Day 2. We visited the Old Truck Museum and the Musical fence on the way back to camp.
The truck museum was huge, all the trucks had their stories with them, amazing piece of history.
The musical fence is very noisy but cleverly done, they even have a grandstand lol.

Hi All, we’ve spent the last 4 days in Winton (no reception). Tomorrow we are heading to Opalton for a week, again, reception.
Day 1 was a relaxing one, set up camp and visited the Waltzing Matilda center.

Hiya All, we arrived at the next stop yesterday, Longreach! We are here for a few days visiting family on the station. So peaceful out here and no reception.

Hi folks so we made it too Alpha last night and have found a spot to call home for the moment 😀
If your out this way and looking for somewhere free to camp overnight with toilets and free hot showers keep a eye out for Alpha rest area on Cemetery Rd off the Clermont Alpha Rd....👍
