Becca's Bits and Pieces began when my son’s preschool announced that they were having a craft show. Our family had recently started on a path towards adoption. So, being a knitter, I decided to knit what I could to help pay some of our adoption expenses. Well, the craft show was a bit of a disappointment. But, since I had already knit lots of ‘bits and pieces’, I decided to open an etsy shop to s

ell them. Turns out, lots of people sell knitwear on etsy, and I was no more successful there than at the craft show. That is, until I listed burlap art I had made for my home. I sold my first burlap art in February, and was invited to a real craft show the same month. Business has grown to include wood art and etched glass, with a emphasis on Indiana. I love decorating and creating. Most of all, I love making things that bring a smile to people's faces! I am married with one son. We are still on a path towards adoption and hope to bring our daughter home in 2014. I create in my home located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
