ParkFans reader, Carl, sent over a collection of fantastic photos showing off Massanutten Resort's trio of new, recently-opened, WhiteWater West water slides: MASS Mayhem, Valley Vortex, and Peak Plunge! Massanutten's outdoor water park only operates until September 14th, so if you're in Virginia and you're itching for some new-for-2020 water slide action, get out there ASAP!
Front row is where it's at people! Every inch of is notably better up front. Way whippier, the sense of speed is incredible, and the drop is legitimately one of a kind. Still not ranking above something like Twisted Timbers for us, but it's a legitimately great inversion-focused coaster.
Just got off of the first train! Initial thoughts? It's an excellent, multi-looper with a couple of great ejector moments and some really, truly wacky-feeling inversions. Getting back in line to ride some more now!

It looks like Virginia's newest rollercoaster, Twist-N-Shout at Central Park Fun-Land, is now open to the public! The lighting kit looks excellent!
Credit wh***ng at the excellent this morning! Three credits, good prices, great staff, and well-maintained coasters—one of the best FECs out there!
We tried out Central Park Fun-Land's brand new haunted house, Maze of Darkness, last night and are happy to report that it's great! Its collection of clever tricks really add up to quite the treat of a Halloween attraction! 🎃 At only $6 a person, if you are in the Fredericksburg, VA area, you should definitely give it a try!

Huge news: Virginia is getting a second new coaster for 2018!
Central Park Fun-Land, an FEC in Fredericksburg, will be renovating everything you see in the picture below. When complete, Fun-Land will house a brand new SBF VISA spinning coaster and a collection of Clip ‘n Climb attractions. For more info, check out the Central Park Fun-Land thread on our forum. Our thoughts are with anyone affected by the Tennessee today. Many of you have likely seen images of fires consuming ridges around Dollywood. To provide contrast to those pictures, we have attached a photo we took just over a week ago of those same ridge-lines from the DreamMore Resort. Seeing the difference is truly gut-wrenching.
