I've got two new travel clients this month! I love that I'm attracting exactly the type of clients I love working with (those wanting dream vacations, mostly in Europe).

One client is having me plan a trip to France next spring break for her, her daughter, and her granddaughter, and I'm meeting with a couple on Monday who wants help deciding where in Europe they want to go so we can plan the trip of a lifetime for them.

I've been working on our October/November trip to Switzerland/Germany/Austria for the past few weeks. I have every detail figured out except our flights from Seattle to Boston (because Capital One says to wait for the price to come down).

🧳 One of the best parts about being a travel advisor is booking your own trips!

Mark & I are heading to Switzerland 🏔️ and Germany this fall. 🍺
✈️ I started looking at business class tickets a few weeks ago, hoping to book with points, but I quickly became overwhelmed.

✅ After much research and a learning curve, I was finally able to transfer points from my Capitol One Veture X card to Air France last night, and we got business class/lay-flat seats to Zurich and premium economy from Munich home.

🤑 I priced the tickets today, and they would have cost almost $15,000! I got them for 218,000 points (which equals $2,180.00), which I earned by buying everything and paying my bills with my card for the past two years.

🤸🏻‍♀️ So I'm feeling pretty good about myself right now, not gonna lie. Best of all, this is now a service I feel like I can help my clients navigate through.

🎉 Now the fun part...to plan the actual 14 days in Europe! SQUEEE!

One of my clients just got home from a fun family spring break trip to Jamaica, and one is leaving for their "Ireland by Rail" trip in a few weeks.

I've been working on this trip to 🇮🇸 Iceland for a client all week and delivered her final itinerary tonight.

They're renting a car and spending a week driving through the Golden Circle and southern Iceland. I booked every aspect of the trip, including...

✈️ Flights (international and domestic)
🚗 The rental car
🏨 6 hotels (they're staying in a different one each night)
🚐 Their transfer to the airport to go home
✅ Travel Insurance

💰 And they're getting all this for under $4000! Even with gas, food, and a few tours, they should come in between $5000 and $5500 for the full week.

I can't pronounce (or even spell) about 90% of the places I booked for them (thank GOD for copy/paste 🤣), but it sure looks like an amazing trip.

I need to add Iceland to our travel list. With Mark being a geophysicist, it's a must-see for him. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a natural hot spring, volcano, geyser, or waterfall!
