Drove out to eastern Oklahoma yesterday afternoon & explored Lake Eufaula State Park & Deep Fork Nature Center. Just a few miles south of Interstate 40, this state park has plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy...both on the water & on land!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum in downtown Oklahoma City. This past week marked the 26th anniversary of the attack on the federal building that killed 168 & injured over 300. The Memorial itself is free to walk around, and offers a touching tribute to those that were impacted by the events of April 19, 1995.

We highly recommend a visit to this historic landmark while passing through Oklahoma City.
