The picturesque walk to the falls helped distract from the distance between the pier and the railroad tracks. Breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the company of my colleagues made for a very relaxing day. 2.66 miles/ 1 hour hike.

Working on a cruise ship is like living in a ceaseless wonder, where each new day is a fresh opportunity for discovery and learning.
As a part of my life at sea, in 2009, I embarked on a thrilling journey marking my first encounter with the mesmerizing Alaskan wilderness. I was instantly enthralled by the vast, rugged landscapes that seemed to be carved straight out of a dream.
From the spectacle of bears, I moved on to an unforgettable train journey into the heart of Alaska. Then there were the glaciers, colossal rivers of ice that have moulded Alaska's geography over thousands of years.
Completing this Alaskan panorama were the majestic whales that call these icy waters home.

🌺 Throwback to my enchanting visit to the Hilton Hawaiian Village in 2011! 🌴
This piece of paradise nestled in the heart of Honolulu truly captures the essence of Aloha. Not your typical hotel - it boasts a stunning Koi fish pond 🐠, a home to adorable flamingos and penguins 🐧, yes, you heard it right, PENGUINS in Hawaii!
Each day was like stepping into a postcard, with a pristine beach at our doorstep 🏖️. Waking up to breathtaking views from our hotel room was simply surreal, a daily reminder of the majesty that is Hawaii 🌅.
Can't wait to return to this tropical haven!

There's nothing like soaring over 13,000 feet above the breathtaking Hawaiian Islands! 🛩️🌴🌺 Back in 2011, I paid someone to throw me out of a plane, and it was totally worth it. 🪂
As I embraced the adrenaline rush of the free fall, I felt an exhilarating sense of freedom that's impossible to put into words.
And as the parachute opened, I was captivated by the astonishing beauty beneath me.
Skydiving in Hawaii? Checked off the bucket list, but I'll surely be back for more of this sky-high thrill!

One visit to the Space Needle, and you truly understand the Seattle jewel. 💫🏙️⛰️

Throwback to 2008 - the hustle and bustle of Times Square, a city that never sleeps, echoing with life at every corner. There, amidst the shimmering neon lights and ceaseless energy, I saw the legendary Naked Cowboy!
Later that night, I got lost in the magic of Broadway, mesmerized by the stunning performance of 'Wicked.' Its powerful melodies and phenomenal storytelling were an experience I will never forget.
Here's to the city that brims with unforgettable moments at every turn! 🗽🎭🎶🍎

Visit the Ostrich Farm in Curacao for a unique and memorable experience that's sure to delight the whole family. Nestled on the picturesque island, the farm offers a close-up encounter with the world's largest birds – the majestic ostriches.
The farm also plays host to peacocks and emus and after immersing yourself in this avian wonderland, stop by the farm's gift shop. Here, you'll find a variety of unique souvenirs and locally made products.

The Queen Emma Bridge 'aka' Swinging Old Lady or Pontoon Bridge, is unique because it is a floating, pedestrian-only bridge that swings open horizontally to allow ships to pass through the bay. When the bridge is open, small boats can navigate under it. However, when it is closed, pedestrians can cross from one side to the other. It connects the Punda and Otrobanda districts across St. Anna Bay.
It is a popular tourist attraction and offers a great vantage point to enjoy the colourful buildings of Willemstad's UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic centre.
