The start of this mixed route requires more balance and footwork (and rock protection) than the ice pulling Andreas had been on recently. He screamed when he popped off. That's why we use ropes and belay systems. And footwork 😉

Of all the places I've been, Iceland might be my favorite. The climbing, skiing, people, food, and geothermal baths here are amazing. I'll be offering a sail/ski trip here next winter so stay tuned for more info!
