I'm sure everyone is as overwhelmed by charities to donate to as we are on this Giving Tuesday. In addition to the zillion humanitarian causes that are vital to human existence (you're all registered to be organ donors, right?), there are hundreds of worthwhile ferret shelters and organizations that could use help. There's also the annual Ferret Giving Tree, and we think it's a great way to give a little something to a little fuzzy someone who could use a nice day. It's easy to donate, and you can splurge and cover a vet bill, or you can go small and gift some treats and toys. This year we're Santa-ing a furball named Chuck Norris (not the first ferret we've encountered with that name, btw). He's in Maine, and we had a lovely visit to Maine this year that wasn't marred by the theft of any ferret jewelry. (Yeah, I'm still looking at you, Orlando!)
