The two lovely beaches closest to the resort are Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca. Punta Prima is just a 20 minute stroll away,

you can then walk along the beach/promenade all the way into Torrevieja Town (40 minutes walk or 15 minute bus ride), which is a bustling town located on an old fishing village and salt lakes. Playa Flamenca also boasts its local market, which is held every Saturday; here you can buy various fruits, vegetables, clothes, accessories and gifts to take home.
