When we launched Monk for a Month Nepal earlier in 2015, we were totally amazed by the huge response and demand of people wanting to go there. Our 1st program in April was full and we had a full group scheduled for May. Then in April the earthquake hit Nepal, devastating communities which have been rebuilding ever since. Now with our Partners GAP Nepal we are thrilled to be offering the program once again. A great way to help rebuild Nepal is to come here and what better reason is there to go than to explore the country's rich world-shaping spiritual traditions of Hinduism and the birth of Buddhism.

Sad news to announce folks - after more than 2 years and dozens of guests, we have to announce the end of the Muslim for a Month / Sufi for a Month (10-day program) due to a lack of guests. The host organisation in Turkey, a NGO doing wonderful work in the field of cultural exchange and dialogue, were spending a high sum in maintaining the extraordinarily beautiful Sufi Lodge in the heart of the old city of Istanbul and there just were not enough guests to justify the continued expense. While we are sad about it, today we remember all the good times and the amazing experiences - everyone who participated on these programs is immensely richer for it. My thanks to Ahmet Abi, Kudret Abi, Sister Sevde, Father Tom and all my fellow fellow-adventuers; we shall always remember that we are not the drop in the Ocean we are the mighty Ocean in the drop.
