Night three, the alpaca farm. Wasn't sure what to expect, and have to say this was so very unique and interesting. Did you know alpacas can be trained to run an agility course and 4-H clubs travel to competitions?? When we arrived the kids were there practicing with their assigned alpacas. I said the words interesting and fascinating too many times to count!

We wanted to stop for just some lunch meat. And of course, only Mom and Pop stores. Found this on Google maps on our way out of Owensboro. It smelled so good as soon as we walked in. Kinda wished I had bought a bowl of the delicious smelling soup!

Our camp neighbors from night one. Carol and Steve from outside of Nashville. Have already exchanged a few texts with one another. Some of the nicest people!

Night two was so very peaceful, parked in the middle of rows of peach trees. A little rain just made sleeping better. And today is an absolutely gorgeous day!

We headed out yesterday in the Roadhouse, aka Dalton. On the way to Evansville, Indiana, on the back roads, we stopped for the night at Brown's Farm Fresh Produce and Meats in Hartford, KY. The Brown family was so super nice. And I can't wait to eat some of the preserves and fresh meat we bought. This was our first stay through Harvest Hosts. I highly recommend you check out this group. A yearly membership fee allows you to stay for free at participating hosts. The membership will pay for itself in just this trip alone, so talk about a frugal way to travel!!

Starting to get more things installed inside! If we actually knew what we were doing or had any experience in some of these things, it would go so much faster! But, progress is good even if it's slow progress.

Ruby Vantastic is back from the body shop!! Now on to Piney Creek this week to finish up the inside!!!

We had the opportunity earlier this year to buy a church van/bus. So we sadly sold our Ruby the Van and are now in the process of creating our new Ruby 2.0, aka Ruby Van-tastic!

Well we have been on a break for a while and it's time to hit the open road with Ruby. She Is just a cleaning and an oil change away from GO time.
