(Beautiful Unique Individuals Learning Discipline) seeks to impart confidence in children, teens and adults through promoting etiquette, creativity and artistic abilities using the industries of fashion and style as a self-enhancement tool. Through the building of self esteem and confidence in adolescence we seek to impart an improvement in the child's overall social skills, sense of career opport
unities, and academic achievement. LLC teaches adults, children and teens from the ages of 6 & up how to model, how to choose proper attire, etiquette, speaking presentation, health education, financial literacy, nutrition, fitness and other transferable skills such as organizing, working in teams, and goal accomplishment. The project activities increases the participants’ beliefs in their ability to work within a team, take on leadership roles, and how art can translate into transferable skills that can be used in non-artistic careers and can be applied to school project planning, problem-solving, and social interaction. Our approach is an asset approach. Building our children and youth in a warm nurturing environment that is philosophically oriented to the equal dignity of all persons with clear established boundaries and limits. Learning While Doing (LWD), at Project B.U.I.L.D. we support personal learning styles that help meet the student's individual needs and help each child understand and use their talents both in and outside of the classroom. also collaborates with community organizations, artists, and professionals to provide students with expert instruction and an array of experiences.
