We asked Claudia, an Anishinaabe Kwe content creator to share her insights while she travels across Western Canada.

“These lands are my home. Although Kabeowek First Nations in Quebec is where my roots are from, I feel home all around me. I feel it in the breeze on my face and at my back. I feel it in the trees and plants that sway in response. I feel it in the birds that sore and play above me. I feel it in the gurgling stream flowing swiftly from one place to the next. I feel it in the movements of the creatures that I happen upon.

I feel home here. Upon the land.

Upon the land that so many of us call home and travel to see every day. I’m grateful to be able to experience these lands. To witness the beauty it offers up to me, a guest on so many lands in which I walk upon.”

Through our multi-year strategic partnership with TELUS, we are setting a new standard in the Canadian airline industry by offering Starlink’s revolutionary inflight connectivity. Thanks to our partnership with TELUS we are able to bring this experience to WestJet Rewards guests for free.

Rewards members will be able to enjoy industry-leading internet in the skies, with enough bandwidth and low latency rates to live-stream videos or play online games. Free Wi-Fi will be available on select WestJet narrowbody aircraft this winter.
