Thunder and lightning at the Kelpies

Last night we had the the worst thunder and lightning storm in along time.

Brian Hunter was out braving the weather and took this amazing image 😮

The Kelpies are mythical water horses that are found in rivers and lochs in Scotland and it is said that they can change shape into other beings on demand.

These 2 are the largest pair of equine structures in the world at 30m high and 300 tonnes each.

They were created by artist Andy Scott, based on 2 Clydesdale horses called Duke and Barron and sit just outside Falkirk at the entrance to the Forth and Clyde canal.
