El día de ayer terminamos exitosamente la actualización de Wilderness Advanced First Aid ( WAFA ) realizado por la Asociacion de Guias de Montaña del peru y University of Colorado (School of medicine/ Department of Emergency Medicine Section of Wildeness and Environmental Medicine)- USA.
Ha sido una actualización muy importante para los Guias Oficiales Montaña para renovar y actualizar nuestros conocimientos en acciones de primeros auxilios en zonas agreste y ayuda en montaña en la que trabajamos .
Nuestro agradecimiento por todo el apoyo y la voluntad de enseñar y transmitir sus conocimientos a los médicos de este genial equipo, Muchísimas gracias de todo corazón a,

Dear friends, I want to thank each of you for taking your valuable time to write to me on my birthday. It has certainly been a very special day and I have enjoyed every second with my family and receiving the loving message from each one of you. Very happy to successfully finish "Vacations in the Mountains" with Dr. Raimund Hofmann this year, one more of many trips he has made to Peru. This year has been a trip to the Cordillera Blanca Mountains.
Our adventures began with acclimatization in the Cordillera Negra, in our place of Willcacocha. Then we started climbing the beautiful and spectacular mountain of Chequiaraju (5,286 mt), continuing with the Nevado Copa 6188 mt, then we went to the famous Toccllaraju (6,034 mt) in the Ishinca Valley, the ascent to this mountain was a spectacular day with an excellent climate and good mountain conditions. Finally, we climbed the spectacular mountain of Huarapasca 5418 mt, now almost a wall of hard ice, but great fun.
In all these mountains the weather was excellent and the conditions of the glaciers very good and safe, only in the Nevado Copa many snow penitents in formation.
We thank Doctor Raimund for trusting Hight Ascents Expeditions and the Henostroza family and we congratulate him warmly for reaching the summit of these beautiful mountains and we wish him a happy return home.
We are sure that more challenges will come in the future.

A few days ago, I returned from the mountain, I did some beautiful ascents with my great friend Günter Held, whom I thank for having trusted me and my agency to climb the Cordillera Blanca.
We have had the opportunity to climb Nevado Huarapasca, and Nevado Copa with great success.
The second part was a cultural tour in southern Peru to Cusco.
I congratulate Gunter for having achieved these summits that increase the good memories of various ascents in the Cordillera Blanca, Huayhaush and Vilcanota and for being interested in learning about our historical and cultural past of Peru.

After a few days of returning from Bolivia, I want to thank the couple Jean-Luc Dupuis and Mrs. Nadine Rolin for having trusted our company, HIGH ASCENTS EXPEDITIONS, to visit Bolivia and its most representative places such as Lake Titicaca, La Isla de la Luna y del Sol, the Cordillera Real trekking from Kacha lagoon to Khotia and as the last part of the program they visited the famous Salar de Uyuni, one of the most impressive places on the planet. It has been a program of emotions for 19 days in Bolivia!
Our thanks to Jean Luc Dupuis and Nadine for their interest in learning about the Tiwanacu Culture, and others who have always settled on the Collao plateau. I express my admiration to the couple for their interest in learning about our culture, spreading it, experiencing our customs, knowing and discovering for themselves the benefits of our mountains, as well as the customs of the current inhabitants. I personally want to congratulate them for the permanent emotion and willingness to reach the peaks and enjoy every moment of the surroundings of the beautiful Cordillera Real. I am amazed that at 72 years old Jean Luc and Nadine are in an impressive physical shape!!
My words of gratitude, also to Francisco Huampo and Erasmo de Palcoco who participated, offering all their support to achieve these excellent days in this part of the Cordillera Real.
