Happy birthday, Mickey! See ya real soon (well, like 69 days soon)!
Listening to Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom and the fireworks are making my dog bark!
That night, at the Magic Kingdom, we got to see the new Happily Ever After fireworks and projection show. Words cannot explain how amazing this show was. I loved the old show that they had at Magic Kingdom but this one was even better!! We found a spot right in front of the castle about an hour and a half before the show. I saved the spot sent the rest of the family off to enjoy Tomorrowland for a bit. It was worth it to wait for the show for sure. I would say get as close as you can because my little ones had a harder time seeing because of the tall people standing right in front of us. But their view was still good enough that they loved it too. If you do plan a trip to Disney World and you go to Magic Kingdom (weather you are going to see these fireworks or not) you will need some advice because of the crowd level for this new show, as we went back just a few nights later right before the show and we're stuck in the crowds barely moving for nearly an hour. You don't want that to happen to you ( unless it's during the show in which case just enjoy the view while you're stuck in the mob of people).
Our third day of vacation we started with a later breakfast at Be Our Guest. I would give it 3 and a half stars out of 5. The good thing is it is considered a quick service restaurant and yet the surroundings are so cool!! We ate in the "rose room" and, though cool, I'd just assume enjoy my food in one of the other rooms and visit the rose room for a bit instead. The food is fine, not great but not bad. I'd rate it as "good". Also, depending on where you decide to sit, it can be a hike to the beverage station and to get napkins and utensils. It is likely, if you go to this restaurant, you are going for the ambiance anyway. We visited this restaurant for breakfast another time during this same vacation... more on that in a future post. Here are some pics.
Star Wars Fireworks. Amazing!
