HUGE NEWS OUT OF TCI!!!!! You now only have to be vaccinated to visit Turks and Caicos. No more testing, approvals, insurance, or masks.

Update 25 April 2022: Changes are being made to entry requirements, effective 1 May 2022:

A negative COVID-19 test and insurance will no longer be required.
Travel authorization via the TCI Assured portal will no longer be required.
Face masks will no longer be required.
All visitors must still be fully-vaccinated to enter the Turks and Caicos.
The Ministry of Health has not released final details on entry requirements, such as the entry requirements for children after 1 May 2022. Once this information has been released, this page will be updated.

There is a difference when joining our Big Blue Collective. There always has been. We started to be different and do it differently to the “others”.

Please be aware of the latest TCI changes regarding vaccination requirements for visitors. These new regulations have been put in place for the safety of TCI residents and visitors. People need to remember they only have a small hospital and don't have the infrastructure to handle a major outbreak. They are looking out for the best interests of everyone. Please do not post negative comments and attack them for this. You are only going to hurt the wonderful people who live on the island and rely on your tourism. Let's do the best we can for them, get vaccinated and visit to support the best island destination around.

Effective 1 September 2021, all visitors must be fully-vaccinated, in addition to all other current requirements. See below for details. The mask, curfew, and business closure requirements have also been extended to 31 October 2021.

You need a TCI Assured Travel Authorization to board your flight. This is a free authorization and you apply online. You'll need:

From 1 September 2021, all visitors 16 years of age and over must be fully-vaccinated (see below for details). This is in addition to all other requirements

A negative COVID-19 test result (see below for acceptable types). The test must be taken within 3 days prior to travel in the islands. Children under 10 are exempted from this requirement.
Insurance which covers COVID-19 medical costs and full hospitalization, doctors’ visits, prescriptions, and air ambulance.
Completed online health screening questionnaire (part of the TCI Assured free online travel authorization).

Once granted entry, no further COVID-19 tests are required and visitors are permitted to stay for 90 days (extendable for an additional 90 days). There is no mobile tracking app or daily health checks (as in some other Caribbean countries). Visitors are free to travel throughout Providenciales and the rest of the Turks and Caicos without restrictions during their stay.

Travel insurance is mandatory for arrival to the Turks and Caicos Islands, if you do not have a valid TCI National Health Insurance Program number. If you do not have travel insurance, you may purchase one from the suggested TCI Assured insurance companies below:

BREAKING NEWS from TCI Health Press Conference:
Starting September 1, 2021, all guests 16 and above MUST BE fully vaccinated (2 shots + 14 days) upon arrival. The 3 day testing requirement remains in place.
Those testing positive while on the island must quarantine for 10 days, and get tested on the 7th day before being released.
Any resident returning, without a full vaccination, must get a negative test before arrival, and then quarantine for 7 days (including household), and mandatory negative test on the 5th day, prior to being released.
