I had the honor of attending the Flagler Awards last night, thanks to our friends at Florida's Sports Coast.

All I can say is, WOW! So many groups doing amazing marketing around our state and it’s awesome!

Now we have our thinking caps on, working to come up with some ideas of what we can do to promote our area. It’s time to make Downtown New Port Richey the destination it’s destined to be. ❤️

Our "on the road" podcast was focused on Jim and Annette Smetzer, owners of Pasco Camera Exchange. Listen in as they share their story about how they became such a valued part of our fabulous Downtown New Port Richey business community! In case you were not aware, Pasco Camera Exchange has been in business for 29 years! Customers far and wide come to their shop because of their expertise. There was a customer in the store when I arrived that was from Wesley Chapel. If you need assistance with buying a camera and accessories, rest assured Jim and Annette can assist you. They can also steer you to the right place for camera repairs you might need. They also offer small classes taylored to your needs. Nothing can stop downtown New Port Richey!

After sustaining building damage today during a strong storm, some great news came from one of our favorite downtown restaurants. Damage isn’t as extensive as initially thought, and they are hoping to only be closed a few days instead of weeks.

We love how our community comes together to get a business back up and running.

We can’t wait for you to reopen Zen Kitchen & Bar! We will make our reservations to visit soon!

After assessing the initial damage, caused by the storm earlier today, we are happy to report the damage is not as bad as we initially thought!

We may be able to begin welcoming you back into the restaurant as early as Thursday, May 16, 2024. Please stay tuned to our page and email notifications for updates on our progress.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing you, your family, and your friends back at Zen Kitchen and Bar soon.

It’s boat parade night! Check out these beautiful floating vessels as they meander down the Cotee River to Sims Park.

Boats usually make their way to Sims Park around 7 pm.

Thank you to everyone who attended this year’s New Port Richey Brewery Week!

We had over 300 people participate in visiting the breweries, and over 140 people complete the trail.

Congratulations to our winner of the brewery basket, Mike Fry! The basket is at Emerald Coast Brewing, for you to pick up and enjoy!

Our Riverside Concert Series continues tomorrow evening with Sarah McQuaid!

Born in Spain and raised in Chicago, Sarah was taught piano and guitar at an early age. Her diverse background comes through in her music, which spans genres and defies categorization. Sarah's chocolatey voice, along with her skilled musicianship on acoustic and electric guitars, makes for a captivating concert experience.

What a beautiful day to come downtown and enjoy the annual Cotee River Bike Fest. They have lots of activities planned, and multiple stages of music.

They also have a great scavenger hunt going on. Stop in the downtown businesses to grab a duck (yes, it's a duck hunt!), or participate in the photo scavenger hunt!
