What is the most iconic, easily recognizable landmark associated with Paris?
The Eiffel Tower, of course!! You can’t see an image of it without thinking of Paris. It is visible from so many vantage points throughout the city and is enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. In the evenings the grassy areas of the Champ De Mars are full of families, groups of friends and romantic couples enjoying picnics and bottles of wine while soaking in the views of the tower and waiting for the lights to come on. Once it is fully dark, the sparkling lights come on at the top of every hour.

If you are planning to visit the Eiffel Tower follow these tips 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
➡️ Purchase your tickets ahead of time!
Tickets to visit the tower from the inside are available from the official Eiffel Tower website 60 days in advance. If you plan to ride the elevators to the top of the tower, keep in mind these tickets are more limited and will sell out first.
➡️ Visit early in the day (to avoid crowds), or late in the evening, close to dusk, so you can enjoy watching the sunset over the city.
➡️ The best views of the city are from the second level platform. If you are visiting the very top of the tower, make sure to stop on the second level and walk around to check out the views from each side. (There’s also an adorable gift shop on the second level where I found a lovely Christmas ornament to add to our family’s collection)
➡️ Stop on the first level on your way back down and enjoy a coffee or glass of champagne while admiring the beautiful structure from the inside.
➡️ If you weren’t able to buy your tickets in advance, don’t worry, you can still go! But you will need to wait in the ticket office line on the day you wish to visit. Lines can become long very quickly depending on the time of year you visit, so plan to get in line first thing in the morning.
