Looking for a charming little park to take your dog or family? 🛝
It’s not blackbird.. it’s Blue Bird Springs Park! 🐦
Located in Homosassa right off US 19, this county-owned park is the perfect place to take a short walk to enjoy the fresh air and the sights and sounds of nature. 🌳
Part of , you might come across Belted Kingfishers, Anhingas, Great Blue Herons, and Wood Ducks. In spring and fall, you might see Orchard Orioles, and mixed warbler flocks, plus resident species such as Downy Woodpeckers, Northern Cardinals, Blue Jays, Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, and White-eyed Vireos. 💦 Relax by the spring and enjoy the view. There’s a dog park, a shaded playground, volleyball, and picnic tables for grillin’ or snackin’.
🏊🚫 You can’t swim in the spring, but it’s crystal clear with various fish and butterfly gardens around it. There are walking areas off to catch views of beautiful turquoise streams.
