The STAMPEDE show of Calgary, Canada is one of the most popular shows on the planet.
Taking place in summers each year, the cowboy display of skills and games is breath taking, even if you don't understand the rules you just get stuck on your seat.
It was on of the best shows I ever saw.

AFFALTERBACH

The German village which is the birthplace of sports version of Mercedes called AMG.

I was in Munich. Took a train from Munich to Stuttgart, from there changed three trains further and finally made it to AFFALTERBACH by foot after an hour long walk as public transport was on strikes.

Once I reached the AMG Headquarters, I received a warm welcome. Got offered food and desserts and later on off we went, roaring on the German roads with AMG gear and power races on top class AMG vehicles, changing them every 15 minutes.

One of the best days of my life.

A simple guide of London Underground use.

The name in blue highlight is the current station you are in, in this figure it’s clear that it’s London Bridge station.

Next, which train to catch depends on where you wanna go. Two trains will come up here, one with header of Edgware, one with the header of High Barnet. The last point of destination is the name that appears on the train showing it’s final stop.

Let’s say if you wanna go to Euston or Camden Town, you can take any of these two trains. However, if you want to go to Hampstead or Brent Cross, you must only take the Edgware train.

Similarly if you wanna go to High Gate or West Finchley, you must only take the train showing the header of High Barnet.

Like I mentioned , from London Bridge to Camden Town, any train is fine because that is the common route of the two trains.

And this my friends, is what I didn’t k ow when I first came in 2015 and took so many wrong trains understanding the complex system.

Final day - Cotswold Wonders

Village life is often looked down upon across the cultures.

But in these villages of England, there is something so magical that they make urban lifestyle look inferior !

Our trip to the selected Southern England visits came to an end today, but with a collection of a lifetime of memories. Camera lens can not do justice to what we saw with our naked eyes !

Day 5 - more about Cornwall

Visited St Ives and St Michael’s mount.
Usually in my trips to Spain I hear a lot of British people talking in their lovely accents.
But today at St Ives of Cornwall I heard German, French, US/Canadian English, Malaysian and Chinese. A tourist spot that will take your breath away - and give a multi lingual sound that would make you feel a citizen of the world next to a beach !

As of Mount Michael, an castle placed on the sea connected by a stony path to mainland, can be traveled on low tide and a lovely selfie point.

“ As a British citizen, if you have travelled around the world to see colourful beaches, but haven’t visited Britain’s own Cornwall and it’s beaches, you have been rather rude to your wallet !”

Day 2- Bournemouth

Bournemouth in Southern England is an absolute gem. The popular beach had many attractions and despite a rough weather, was well worth the visit.

Goes to show that pure inner beauty still has a charm despite harsh surroundings that may distort its reflection!

Day 1 - Visit to Oxford University

Founded in the year 1096, an almost-millennium old University is the best in the world. Some say the best is Cambridge, others point at Harvard, but the grace and class of Oxford gives goose bumps when you walk those university parameters.

One feels the silence - do not speak ! The students are studying ! The honor boards showing names of former world leaders of nations and pioneers of science. The footsteps of the legends who ruled the world once walked these Oxford streets.

I wish I was an Oxford student with a Posh accent and an outstanding CV - not that I haven’t achieved in life without being one but the glory this university’s name gives to its student is captivating.

Peyto Lake.

Banff and Jasper , without a shred of a doubt, are the most cherished jewels of the Canadian Rockies.

Out of many wonders of Jasper, a lake called “ Peyto Lake” is absolutely worth the hype.

Kept away from the public access and visible only from a hill top, the lake is an eye candy, a breath of fresh view and a trigger for poets and painters.

The torquoise color of the water gives a mesmerising calmness.

Makes me wonder, why are urban cities with skyscrapers and fancy cars shown so aggressively on the media and gems like these remain unknown to the world?

Visited the Beatles museum in Liverpool, UK in December last year. Being a rock and roll addict, this was a tour of its own. Seeing the band’s ornaments, achievements, tour photos etc from the 60s gave me a feeling that I know these guys so well and was from their generation- but I am not, wish I was.

And as the rule of glory remains, every journey has an end.

If you ever fly above Dubai, ensure it’s a day time flight and you are on the window seat.

Having seen this man made Palm tree-on-sea on land as well as from the sky, the fascination of what humans are capable of always expands.

This also comes with fears. What if a sea hurricane destroys this place? What if the sea levels gradually go up and flood this land?

Having recently obtained the British passport, my excitement knew no bounds.

Coming to the UK as an immigrant 8 years ago and being able to obtain the prestigious document via legal route, a world of travel opportunities opened for me.

America 🇺🇸 was always on my list.

I landed in Canada and went to Detroit, Michigan for a day trip via road, having done it only after a wait of 40 minutes on Windsor (Canada)/Detroit immigration check post.

No deep questioning, no torture - just a smile with a big “ Welcome to the US!” from the US immigration staff and off I went.

Call it a monopoly of global passports with more strength to certain countries or privilege, my feelings that day were enormous. So many people around the world wait for months/years to get a US visa to see their loved ones and other important activities , and here I was who waited less than an hour.
