We did it again!
Portugal was voted the Best Destination in Europe for the 4th consecutive year at the 2020 World Travel Awards, known as the "Oscars of Tourism".
From the extensive list of awards Portugal has won 26, among them the city of Porto, with the award for Europe's Best City Break Destination, and Lisboa elected as the Europe's Best Cruise Destination. The Algarve has once again been the Europe's Leading Best Beach Destination.

What an historic Giro D'Italia!
João Almeida won the 4th place and the heart of the Portuguese.
The 22-year-old national, who led the race for 15 days, moved up from 5th to 4th place by recording the fourth-best time on the stage, and secured the best ever ranking of a Portuguese in this competition.

Rúben Guerreiro took the podium to receive the Maglia Azzurra, king of the mountain, an unprecedented achievement in Portugal history.

Golf at historical Vale do Lobo Royal Course. Inaugurated at 1997, it was designed by top American golf architect Rocky Roquemore, based on the original drawings of Sir Henry Cotton.
It features the famous 16th with cliff-top carryover, one of the most photographed holes in Europe.
