গোলাপ কেনো নানান রংয়ে হয়!
কেনো প্রেম ফুরায় না, ফুরায় প্রেমের অসুখ!
কেনো মায়া ফুরায় না, বন্ধ হয় যোগাযোগ!

আচমকা কেনো ঘুম ভেঙে যায়, স্বপ্নে কারো মুখ দর্শনে
বুকের চিনচিন ব্যাথা, কেনো কোন অষুধে সারেনা!

আমার চোখ আজ জাহাজের দীর্ঘকায় সার্চ লাইটের থেকে দীর্ঘতম,
তবুও চারিদিক অন্ধকার।
আমার মন আজ আকাশের চেয়েও বিশাল,
তবু কোন পতঙ্গকে উড়তে দিতে পারি না।
আমার বক্ষ আজ পৃথিবী নামাক খাচাঁর চেয়েও বিস্তর
তবু সেখানে কাউকে রেখে দিতে চাই না।
আমি অভাব চাই, পৃথিবীর সমস্ত অভাব চাই,
তবু নিয়ন আলোয় মিথ্যে রঙিন মানুষ চাই না!
