Some are still without power on the island, but we did all pull through safely. We had a few cancelled boat charters that turned into land tours this weekend, then a few land tours that had to cancel due to a turned around cruise ship. Who is the real stunner and MVP of this storm (other than BELCO for returning power so quickly for so many) is our wedding planner, Giuliana. We had a destination wedding coming to Bermuda on a cruise ship that had to go to Cape Canaveral, FL instead of beautiful Bermuda. She made it happen. We ended up pulling off a wedding in a place we know little to nothing about, in a matter of 2 days. Here is a review from one of the bridesmaids:

"I was a bridesmaid was supposed to attend a destination wedding in Bermuda on Oct 12, 2016. Unfortunately, Hurricane Nicole had other plans and the wedding was cancelled in Bermuda because the bride and groom's cruise ship was re-routed to Port Canaveral, Florida. Like a true professional, Thinking of Bermuda went above and beyond to recreate the ceremony and reception in Florida, with only two days to do so. Thinking of Bermuda arranged catering, location, a photographer, a videographer, transportation and more...all within two days! They did an AMAZING job and the bride and groom were absolutely thrilled. Thank you, Giuliana, for doing such a stellar job!" - Melanie

It all started around 6:30 this morning with the ship announcing it would leave Bermuda 1 day early due to the weather! This wedding has been in the works since Jan 2015. Everything was set to start at 6:30PM on a boat :) ... So we moved it all to Calico Jacks! It's not what they had planned for but I have to say so far it's looking good and everyone is having a good time despite the horrible weather. Wedding starts in 10mins!!! Wishing the bride & groom all the best!

Looks like June 20th 2016 & July 13th 2016 are booked solid! With 3 weddings each day I can not take on anymore! I have space the day before and after for all those coming in through the cruise ships. I have had so many people inquire about the 20th! Book your wedding before the date is taken! It's going to be a busy year!!!
