NORVEGIA - Si al piombo nelle munizioni da caccia nelle zone umide

Scelta controcorrente del Parlamento norvegese che ha approvato
nuovamente (79 voti favorevole e 19 contro) l’utilizzo del piombo nelle munizioni da caccia dopo che lo stesso era stato bandito nel 2005.
Questa decisione fu presa benchè mancassero evidenti basi scientifiche sulla sostenibilità ambientale dei materiali utilizzati in alternativa al piombo. Anzi l’utilizzo di altri materiali invece hanno dimostrato che causano sofferenze inutili agli animali e sono più rischiosi per l’uomo, per non parlare del danno che questo divieto causerebbe al comparto economico”.
Questo è il risultato di una lunga campagna di informazione condotta in maniera egregia dai cacciatori norvegesi che sono riusciti a dimostrare la mancanza di alternative. Di fatto è stato possibile dimostrare che il piombo è l'unico materiale in grado di garantire ( lo conferma la balistica) abbattimenti certi e sicuri, al contrario dell' acciaio che è meno performante e che rischia di lasciare sul terreno molte prede ferite.
