Our retreat prices range from €2,700 to €6,000, depending on the destination, accommodation type, and extras you might choose. We also offer flexible payment plans, so you can book with a 20% deposit and pay the rest in easy installments leading up to your retreat.

Meet Joana and Alice, who will be creating magic at our solo-parent retreat in Portugal in July 2025.

Both Alice and Joana come from families with a culinary background and eclectic paths. They studied fine arts and their approach to food and the world is from that creative point of view. In continuous research on social movements, the
future of food, food design, participatory methodologies, philosophy, food and educational systems, agriculture, nutrition, visual culture, producers and artisans.

In July of 2025, they will cook every meal for parents and kids at a beautiful Quinta at the heart of Arrabida National Park.

They are also excited to take the little ones for a forging adventure among the Quinta's fruit trees.

Meet Alex ( )The master of the Montessori curriculum at ilo retreats and a lover of swimming.

Alex is a Montessori directress and has worked with children for over 18 years in the UK and at summer camps in the USA. For 13 years, she has specialised in Montessori education and working with children under 6 in nurseries and schools across London. She is passionate about empowering young children and helping them develop their self-confidence and independence gently and encouragingly. She works with multiple families, helping to support them and their children to further incorporate Montessori philosophies into their home and their lives. Alex truly believes in building solid foundations for young children to grow up into more confident and capable young adults.

She will be coming to the retreats in 2025 to take care of your little ones !
