On **Saturday, December 21st**, we're turning up the heat AFTER the Grafton Winter Lights Parade with a luau-themed party! Don your best tropical summer attire - think coconut bras, Hawaiian shirts, floaties, and flip-flops. The more outrageous, the better!
We'll have tropical cocktails, great music, karaoke and a whole lot of fun. Plus, there will be a best-dressed contest with awesome prizes!
So come on down, let loose, and let's make this Winter Solstice unforgettable. Just follow the 3rd Chute Summer Boat Float from the parade route to 3rd Chute... see you there!

What started just a few short years ago as a few good friends looking for a way to have a little festive fun has grown into a full-fledged holiday lights parade, and we're inviting YOU to become a part of the action!
If you made it out last year, then you KNOW how much of a BLAST this was!
Mark your calendars now for the best little lights parade in Jersey county, and become a part of a new local tradition!
Come early for dinner at any one of our many great Grafton restaurants before you make your way down to water street for the GWLP( you can even park in your vehicle and enjoy the parade along most of the parade route), and then wrap up the night with an evening of ice-skating or live music with all your favorite people!
Line-up at the Hawg Pit at 4:30pm. Parade starts at 5:30pm and will travel Water St. and come to an end at The Loading Dock for a evening of ice-skating and fun times!

Every year hundreds of Santas (yes, HUNDREDS!) take over the streets of Grafton for the annual reunion and we're inviting EVERYONE get involved, NOT JUST SANTAS!
Dress as your favorite holiday character and join in all the festivities all over town! Charlie Brown and the gang, Scrooge, Nightmare before Christmas, the Grinch gang, a Christmas Story... come one, come all!
Join us for the jolliest pub crawl on the river and spread the childlike gift of JOY (but this one is for the ADULTS)... See you there!

Get ready to indulge in a sweet and festive holiday experience! The charming riverside town of Grafton, Illinois, will host its annual Chocolate Stroll, Shop & Sip event on Saturday, December 7th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. This family-friendly event offers a delightful mix of holiday shopping, delicious treats, and fun activities for all ages.
The day kicks off at 10:30 am, with the Grafton Chamber of Commerce welcoming visitors at City Hall, where they’ll provide treats, event information, and maps to guide attendees through the festivities. City Hall is conveniently located, with ample parking within walking distance, making it easy for everyone to access the event. From 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Santa and Mrs. Claus will spread holiday cheer at Grove Memorial Park. Families are invited to take selfies with Santa or capture memories at the festive holiday display. Jersey State Bank will also be on hand, offering complimentary hot chocolate and cookies to add a cozy touch to the afternoon.
Throughout the event, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, participating businesses across Grafton will feature a variety of chocolate-themed treats and specials. Visitors can stroll through the town, explore unique shops, and savor sweet delights along the way.
