Spearfishing courses are now offered at Bamboo Reef

Learn to safely and effectively harvest seafood while freediving!

Instead of relying on random people you meet online, learn the technicalities and ins and outs of spearfishing, spearguns, float lines, finding structure... and and and....all that jazz that comes with spearfishing from professionals at Bamboo Reef.

NAUI has designed a curriculum for spearfishing, and lucky for us Bamboo Reef is now holding Spearfishing courses based upon the NAUI curriculum.

From fish to kelp, urchins to crabs, rock scallops to limpets, you will learn about not only catching, but also proper handling and cooking these superfoods!

All gear is available to rent, just have the desire to dive and harvest food sustainably!

This Saturday, 9/28 at 9am, couple of us will gather at the end of Ocean St. in Carmel; launch our kayaks and paddle towards Stillwater Cove. This is a kayak diving event, anyone is welcome!
