St. Agatha’s tower, also known as the Red Tower was built by the Knights in 1649. Back then it was equipped with cannons & a garrison of 30 men, & supplied with enough food & anno to withstand a siege of 40 days. Nowadays the tower is managed by & open to tourists. 📸
