Acorn Travel Trailer Acorn travel trailers made by Scamp. In 1978 a company named Eveland's Inc.

which made lightwieght fiberglass campers called Scamp Travel Trailers, was in the middle of a lawsuit for the rights to the name of Scamp. For one year, half of 78' and half of 79 the company changed the name of the campers to Acorn. The company won the lawsuit and the following year continued the production under the original name of Scamp. In 2006 the Eveland's had a fire and lost the whole fac

tory including any informal records of the Acorn Trailers. The founder and the current owner estimate that only a hundred of the Acorn Trailers were built! If you own one of few on the road today then you are lucky to have a rare Acorn/Scamp!

Here a solution to oxidation. If your camper is starting to show its age and you dont want to pay big bucks for a new gel coat, I highly recomend this product. It's cheap and simple to apply. just prep the surface with the solution included in the kit and apply a few coats of the poli glow. It is applied the same way you would use a stain on wood. http://www.poliglow.net/
