Hey everyone,

We’re really sorry about the recent issues with deposit refunds. We’ve heard from some of you that you haven’t received your refunds even a month after check-out, and that’s definitely not normal for us. Usually, we should receive your refunds no longer than 7️⃣ days.

After looking into it, we found out that a batch of refunds for guests who stayed with us in May and June was mistakenly reversed back to us. Since we handle up to hundreds of check-outs daily, this issue has affected around 4,000 refunds.

The good news is that after one month of OT, we’ve now resolved 90% of these cases and are working hard to fix the rest 💪💪.

If you’re still waiting for your refund, here’s what you can do:

STEP 1️⃣: Check your bank account or PayPal for a payment from SB PLUS SDN BHD. It may appear on your statement on any dates from May till recently.

STEP 2️⃣: If you haven’t received your refund for more than 7 days after check-out, please drop us a message on Instagram / WhatsApp.

The team was founded by 2 enthusiastic Airbnb hosts, Feng and Rui, in 2015. Their first Airbnb apartment was a 3 bedroom unit at KL Sentral, gaining up to RM10,000 rentals on a peak season by renting out private rooms of the unit separately.
