Anasakti Ashram

Anasakti Ashram is a peaceful place in Kausani , Uttrakhand famous for the stay of Mahatma Gandhi for two weeks in 1929. Also known as Gandhi Ashram, this place was described by Gandhi Ji himself as the Switzerland of India, after falling in love with its pristine beauty. 

There is a small prayer room in this ashram where prayers are held every morning and evening. No entry fees and good to roam around while enjoying Himalayas view .

We just finished 5 days trip to Kausani -- Binsar---- Almora -- Bhimtal starting from Kathgodam .

The moment we started the AQi dropped from 150 to 40 and looking at the lush green mountains and waterfalls the heart beta rose to 150 😂.

Location : Sun temple near Almora , Uttrakhand .

Optical illusions happen when our brain and eyes try to speak to each other in simple language but the interpretation gets a bit mixed-up.

Bole tho " Chemical locha " ho jaata ha ..

We had a good time or say illuminating time at " Museum of illusion " .

Enjoyed going through various exhibits Building illusion , Anti gravity room , infinity room but our fav was THE VORTEX tunnel .

While it's a treat for eyes , it's fun to know the science behind .

Located in Cannaught place , Delhi good place to go away from summer heat enjoyed equally by adults and kid .

And there we were on first trip after marriage singing indemnity form waiving the Casela npark official in Mauritius for anything happening to us during this 45 minutes walk in the jungle with 2 🦁 LIONS .

Now that's how you prove love is BLIND ❤️.

Throwback to our " Wah Taj " Moment .During our visit while we were not able to tell the history behind the place as Arham was still 4 year old but his query made us 😂 .

Counted in 7 wonders of world , it's an iconic Landmark of India located in Agra City . It's a popular weekend gateway from Delhi and 3 places to cover are :

1. Agra Fort
2. Fatehpur Sikari
3. Taj Mahal .

Do try Poori sabji for breakfast and take back some " Panchi Peta" ( Sweet pumpkin) from the town .

Don't go on Fridays as the TM is closed .

Tip : Visit close to Full Moon night to admire the beauty of the place under the moon light and you can even book a night visit .

In 12 years of our adventures doing crazy activities around the world , this one still gives us Goose bumps .

Walk with 2 lions in the wild in the jungle for almost 1 hour was crazy experience ..We still remember signing the indemnity form which stated " All risk is ours and we are solely responsible for anything that happen to us during the activity " . It felt like signing our own suiside note happily :)

It's " Walking with the lion " activity in Casella Nature park in Mauritius .

Found in the Gardens by the Bay area, this attraction makes up one of the two domes located there. The other is for the Cloud Forest attraction.

Pre-book your tickets online so you can use your e-ticket to be scanned through at the entrance. There is a ticketing office onsite if you decide to go on the day.

The dome is amazing with various flowers, trees and plants from different countries on display. A fascinating insight into their unique connection to the constellations, seasons and harvest. The Orchids are just incredible! Also you will find many pieces of artwork or mini structures which adds to the vibe.

It was a relaxing way to enjoy 30 to 40 mins. The place is air-conditioned which is impressive given the size of the dome. Definitely recommend visiting specially when they have added Christmas 🎄 decor to the place .

Journey with kid is like taking a Rollercoaster 🎢 ride . It has it up's and down but that's what make the journey memorable .

History says , this is the place where Arundhati wife of Sage Vashisht meditated .

Now there is a cave along with a temple and pristine view of River Ganga offering an ideal location for clicking some picture .

Feel free to sit and meditate away from the hustle and rustle of the town . Kids enjoy free play with rocks on the river bed .
